TavIntensive is a physically demanding and highly stimulating experience focusing on strong technique and expressive and rhythmic choreography, which combines the aesthetic line of contemporary dance and ballet with the rhythmic patterns of African dance.
Participants can expect technique classes, Tavaziva repertoire, solo and pair work, with an emphasis throughout the five days on support and feedback from Bawren Tavaziva and fellow dancers in a lively and constructive environment.
From 20 to 24 March 2023, due to popular demand, Tavaziva Dance will be hosting a bespoke five-day intensive programme of classes and choreography for graduate and professional dancers led by Bawren Tavaziva.
This intensive is designed as an introduction to Bawren Tavaziva’s choreography for dancers who have not previously engaged with the Company’s work.
Places are limited to 15 dancers; early booking recommended.
