Who are we?
Tavaziva is a professional contemporary African dance company. We create and tour original productions to audiences across the UK and abroad, we deliver dance workshops and projects to children, young people, adults and professional dancers and we offer an apprenticeship dancers programme for MA students. We are a registered charity that regularly seeks grant funding to enable us to offer a range of artistic projects, productions and creative workshops. Through performances, training, learning and participation we engage audiences of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Tavaziva is funded by Arts Council England as a National Portfolio Organisation.

This policy applies to any personal information handled by Tavaziva Dance Ltd. The website produced and operated by us is tavazivadance.com.

What information is being collected?
Tavaziva asks for your consent for all events and services we provide including auditions, classes, workshops and projects. We ask for some basic information such as your name, gender, date of birth, phone number and email address. Depending on the event or project you choose we may also ask for your address and bank details. We will us your email address and phone number to communicate with you if you have agreed to it.

How does Tavaziva use information about me?
Tavaziva uses information about you to email you newsletters from the Tavaziva general mailing list. We may also use your email address to provide you with information about products or events you’ve bought tickets for. For example, we might use your email address to contact you about changes to an event you’re attending, or to send you information about our latest productions.

Will my information be shared with any third parties?
No. Tavaziva will never share your data with third parties.

We use carefully selected systems to collect and store your data securely to which only authorised staff have access. Systems and software we currently use include Mailchimp, Dropbox and WordPress.

How can I update my personal information?
You are entitled to see, amend or request to delete the personal information that we hold about you. If you would like to revise the information you provided to us at any time, you may update the information and your personal preferences by emailing us.

The most important reason Privacy Policies are useful is because you’re most likely required by the law to have one posted on your website. The applicable laws in your region or the region you’re conducting business in may require you to include and abide by certain clauses in your Privacy Policy.
