Greed is here!
Tavaziva Dance will be on the road again in 2025 with Greed, a dynamic, powerful, exhilarating dance piece accompanied by a stimulating and infectious soundtrack.
First performed to great acclaim in 2013, Greed is Bawren Tavaziva’s unique take on The Seven Deadly Sins and deals with the interplay of money, power, and religion between African and Western cultures.
Performed by a cast of five stellar dancers, this challenging, fast-paced, contemporary production will excite and enthuse new audiences.

Based in London, Nana-Yaa was born in Ghana. A graduate of Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary, she started her training in the African dance style of Adowa. Following on to join National Youth Dance Company (NYDC) and Motionhouse Company. She has worked with Damien Jalet, Jamaal Burkmar, Holly Blakey, Justine Doswell and Catherine Young.
Oraine Frater is a talented dancer and teacher who has an open mind to being exposed to different genres of dance. He was one of the Assistant Artistic Directors and a former principal dancer with L’Acadco: A United Caribbean Dance Force where he has performed and toured to several countries including Suriname, United States, Japan, Barbados, Trinidad, Cayman Islands and Anguilla.
Anna Watkins was part of the original cast of Greed in 2013, and her storied 20-year professional performance career includes work with Shobana Jeyasingh, Thea Barnes, Neville Campbell, Harriet Macauley, and Bawren Tavaziva. Anna’s Watkins Dance Company has toured the UK and internationally for 14 years, and she was Associate Artist at Swindon Dance in 2017-2018. Anna was recently Movement Director for Opéra de Baugé in France for L‘Enfant et les Sortileges, Bartered Bride, and Ballo, and her SHIMMER dance film, in celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, has to date won six awards at film festivals.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Yanki has a background in Latin dance, rhythmic gymnastics, Chinese traditional dance and other commercial styles.
