Chevon Edwards began her dance training at Lewisham College (2004-07) where she received a Distinction in Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz, as well as winning the award for Most Progress on her BTEC dance course. She then went on to train at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2007-10), working with Debbie Johnson, Hagit Bar and Matthias Sparling. Whilst in training, she took part in a number of international workshops, as well as participated in a community dance project for Big Dance 2010 working with David Waring and Melodie Fernandes. Chevon joined Tavaziva Dance as an Apprentice Dancer in December 2010.
