Peace One Day’s efforts bring about the unanimous adoption by UN Member States of an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence on 21 September (Peace Day). The aim is to institutionalise the day around the world – to date global exposure is over two billion people. Please click on the following link for an introductory film.
One Day One Dance uses dance to promote peace and unity on Peace Day, and to raise awareness of the day globally. On Saturday 21 September 2019, Peace One Day celebrated their 20th anniversary. They continue to push their goals as they aim to reach 3 billion people with the message of Peace Day by 2025.
