Explore the fascinating traditions and rhythmic rituals of the Zimbabwean Shona tribe through Tavaziva’s unique Black History Month dance workshops.

Available as a half-day or full-day one-off workshop or 2-3 day creative residency to create a performance piece. Students will have the opportunity to work with professional dancers to experience Tavaziva’s fusion of traditional African dance with contemporary and ballet in these fun, rhythmic and energetic workshops.

Schools signing up for a residency will have the opportunity to perform in Tavaziva’s Youth Dance Showcase promoting the talent and creativity of young Londoners. All workshops will be tailored to the age of the class.

We are particularly keen to encourage boys to participate and can create bespoke sessions.
