Tavaziva is seeking freelance male dance teachers to deliver workshops and projects

Tuesday 6 December with a recall and paid training session on Thursday 8 December 2016 in London.

Deadline to apply is 12noon on Monday 28th November 2016.

 

Tavaziva is looking for male dance artists with experience in teaching children and young people. You will need an enthusiastic and positive approach to delivering high quality dance workshops, be skilled at teaching dance and have an open mind to fusing dance styles and music.

Tavaziva is an acclaimed contemporary-African touring dance company led by Zimbabwean-born Artistic Director Bawren Tavaziva. Bawren fuses his contemporary and ballet training with traditional African dance styles and Capoeira/African Street to create his own unique dance vocabulary. Our Learning and Participation programme includes ZIVA Youth, our boys dance project.

Bawren Tavaziva and Jeanefer Jean-Charles of Tomorrow’s Men will lead an audition and interview process. Further information is available on request.

A DBS certificate will be required for this role. Tavaziva will apply for DBS certificates for successful applicants.
